Hil elvera111, I'm no expert and don't know about adrenal failure but it looks to me as if your Free T3 is under the range and my breathing improved absolutely instantly as soon as I took my first, prescribed by an endo, dose of T3 and has remained good. It wasn't a placebo effect because I had no idea it affected breathing at all. Could be just me though, let's see what others say.
I think you need to go back to your Doctor and ask these questions its very dangerous for people on here to advise you about such matters. For your information i have been taking a small dose 1mg per day for over fourty years! this dose can be increased if i have a bad time x 10 times but only for one week and then i need to step it down gradually to my usual dose.
I take supplements prescribed by my Doctor to ensure that my bones dont get affected.
My biggest problem was that when i got a chest infection where i was coughing phlem up all the time was cured by antibiotics but came back back within 2 or 3 days of the course of antibiotics ending, BUT my lovely Doctor consulted with his colleagues and they decided that i could have three antibiotic tablets each WEEK, mon/wed/friday, and guess what? I DONT GET THE INFECTIONS ANY MORE ! a very big success for me after having a bad chest from birth. I am now 71 years of age.
