I am taking 260 mg.s of Naturethroid and my TSH level is 0.008, my Triiodothyronine, Free Serum is 4.6 and my T4 Free (Direct) 1.59 while my Thyroid Peroxidase Ab is 27. What do I do to get to a more normal range.

Could you post your ranges? They differ from lab to lab so with those we would just be guessing.

Range for TSH is 0.450 - 4.500, Range for T$ Free (direct) is 0.82 - 1.77, Range for Triiodothyronine Free Syrum is 2.0 - 4.4, Range for Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) Ab is 0 - 34

Your T4 will be suppressed on NDT so ignore that.

Would be good to see results with ranges so people can advise.

How do you feel though?? Do you feel well?

I pretty much ignore my bloods now(within reason) I can tell how I am by how I feel. If my eyelashes start falling out it's the first sign for me of hypo so then I take an extra 60mg every other day. If I get palpitations I know I'm slightly overmedicated then I stop the extra and go back to 120 daily.

Completely agree with Kate - ignore bloods within reason, go by symptoms and how you feel, your temps etc. Although 4 1/2 grains/day is getting up there, do you you get any side effects, tingles, heart pulps, buzzing sensations. I tune my dose daily. My base dose is 3 grains and I add and extra 1/2 to 1 grain depending on work stress, my temp, summer/winter, wind chill, sport etc.

I've been getting muscle cramps, I'm cold all the time now and I have no energy, there's a really long story that goes back to when the FDA was privatized in the U.S.A. and then I lost my doctor to retirement. Here are the Labs ranges.

Range for TSH is 0.450 - 4.500, Range for T$ Free (direct) is 0.82 - 1.77, Range for Triiodothyronine Free Syrum is 2.0 - 4.4, Range for Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) Ab is 0 - 34

It doesn't sound like you are overmedicated. Maybe Naturethroid isn't the NDT for you? There was another post from someone saying they had to take large amounts of it. Your symptoms are pointing towards undermedicated. Although your T3 is top of the range.

Hmmm

What's your B12, Vit D, folate and Ferritin like?

Post your results again with ranges in anew post and see what others think.

My Ferritin was too high last year, so I stopped taking it. B12 is good, Folate is good and I just started taking Vitamin D. I will repost, thank you.
