Thank you to anyone following my ongoing drama at the moment. Past posts outline tests results.
Fearing that I have been overmedicated, I didn't take my meds for the past couple of days, then took 150mg this morning - 25mg less than my prescibed 175mg dose.
I feel shocking - really sick, red hot, my heart is racing, hands are shaking, really thirsty.
I have no idea what to do from here and feel like I've totally messed myself up. Should I stop meds for a bit? Should I reduce the dose further?
It's a month until I see the endo. I'm booked in for bloods in a couple of weeks. I'm also supposed to be going away this week.
Thank you for any help and patience with my total stupidity trying to get to grips with this.

Sorry you feel in such a mess. We’ve all been there at some time. Think a test will be no help unless you’re on a stable dose. Personally I have always avoided supplements so in your position I would choose a dose and stick to it while avoiding supplements and restrictive diets. But it’s your decision. Good luck, you will feel better soon.
Here’s the dilemma...if you keep skipping doses completely you risk suddenly feeling very hypo. But at the moment you feel overdosed and awful because of past ingested levothyroxine. The problem with levo is this wretched time delay every time we try to change the dose. I suggest you don’t skip completely but maybe lower a bit until you get advice from admin, seaside Suzy, grey goose or some one who can really help. Hang on in there. You may eventually try the original 150 plus 12.5mcg, but not until you’ve stabilised and feel comfortable again.
Thanks for this. I'll drop down and see what happens. I don't want to risk being hypo again, but I'm running very hot and shaky today so I need to change something.
