Help with blood results before endocrin mtg

Hi I now have my results below

T3 3.4

T4 13.6

TSH 5.1 (was 4.6 a month and a half ago)

TPO 12

Also had slightly raised IGF and Prolactin a month and a half ago.

Does this seem like pituitary issue as T3 seem low?

Hiya

Your T3 is low as you are undermedicated and need an increase in your thyroid meds.

Don't know much about growth hormone so someone else will have to answer that but I have had raised prolactin occasionally but it does go up and down so depends on when you take the test? This is only normally a problem is consistently raised high above a certain level so just get a retest.

Sorry, just saw your other post and see you're not on thyroid meds. Unfortunately, they are unlikely to medicate thyroid until your tsh hits 10.

I can see you have the TPO antibodies but I can't see the range for that so can't determine if shows autoimmune thyroid. Would need thyroglobulin antibodies as well to rule out autoimmune thyroid.

We need the ranges to be able to tell you anything. But, I doubt if there's a pituitary problem with a TSH of 5.1.

Thanks both- I'm picking the paperwork up tomorrow. These were verbally given, I'm not sure what the range is but assume I'll find out on the paperwork with the results?
