these are of concern
sodium 146mmol/l (135-145
creatinine 60 umol/l(62-124)
urea 1.9 mmol/l (2.5-6.6
glucose (non fasting only had decaff coffee no sugar 7.9mmol (3.3-6.0)
not sure what to look at iron wise
thyroid or FSH not tested

Everything seems a bit off, but I do not know how much whatever you are going through/bleeding/medication affects these test results. So maybe those should be evaluated by a doctor who understand the relationship of them.
For iron it should be serum iron, ferritin and transferrin at least?
im on a fair amount of medication at the moment
none of what you mention is on my list
i had full blood count
liver function test
urea and electrolytes
Too bad iron panel was not included, but it's secondary until they figure out what causes the bleeding.
Your results are so weird , they will probably order more tests after the scan.
On there own, low urea and creatinine are not normally an issue, just often means more efficient kidneys than most. My urea is always under range. However, liver problems can cause this also - did your liver function tests come back okay? Also drinking too much water or a bad diet with low protein or malnutrition can cause also.
Your sodium is certainly an issue and must be discussed with doctor. Kidney function and liver function can cause this. However there are other causes, are you on water retention meds or diuretics for blood pressure? Again are you severely dehydrated or drinking way too much water? Are you vomiting a lot or have bad stomach issues? Might be worth checking adrenal function too for things like addisons.
The glucose level is kind of normal if not fasting but you can buy a cheap blood glucose testing kit from the pharmacy for a more in depth look. However, diabetes can cause excessive thirst etc and low insulin can be a problem in some of these areas?
All together, there certainly seems to be something going on which needs to be looked into more - either issues with kidneys/liver (which can cause heavy bleeding also) or something is seriously messing with your electrolytes and water levels such as diuretics?? Might be worth checking the side effects on your meds?
sorry just noticed my sodium was written wrong should have been 146 and not 46
liver tests all came back good
my glucose levels seem to go up and down for some reason even with fasting bloods
i have noticed i am extra thirsty but thats a side effect of the mirtazapine so could explain the high sodium, i dont have a lot of salt in my diet
not on any diuretics but do get swollen ankles at the end of the day
im due to see dr in a couple of weeks for smear test and to discuss results but i might call them today and get a call back
Haha - that sounds better otherwise a little worrying lol. I'm not sure the urea/creatinine is as problematic as first appeared with a more normal sodium although obviously still something going on with water/sodium balance. Dehydration could still be the problem or med side effects and high sodium will cause excessive thirst. Did they do an actual kidney function test? Drinking more water will lower the sodium level but doesn't really deal with the issue unless it was because you weren't drinking enough in the first place which doesn't really correlate with low urea/ creatinine
I think it's worth taking a closer look at your blood sugar levels over a few days at various points of the day to get a clearer picture of what's going on there as it can indicate diabeties forming but can also be caused by hormones but I'm assuming these came back okay as results not mentioned.
In the meantime, you can help stabilise them by eating healthily and smaller meals more often and googling glycemic index and learning which foods can effect your sugar levels more. For instance, new potatoes are better than other types (mash/jacket) and basmati/wild/wholegrain is better than other types of rice.
My sugar levels were all over the place until I gave up gluten so this might be worth a try too if not already
ive actually done 2 posts with all the bloods tested
waiting on dr to call to discuss results
but i know my glucose levels seem to go up and down with my TSH but without that being tested im not sure where my levels are but im presuming pretty high
in all honesty i dont think i could give up gluten it would cause so many problems with meal prep unless i got the entire family gluten free then it would cost a fortune
It doesn't have to be expensive as most the world's food is naturally GF - you can cook your normal family meals with potatoes and rice and dairy/meat/veg/fruit/nuts/seeds are all gluten free anyway. I don't buy much of the expensive GF products
