CHAT Article I did to help raise awareness for Hashimotos & hypothyroidism

Slightly dramatised but I thought any publicity on Hashimotos & hypothyroidism would be positive as so many suffer from this chronic disease yet it's still widely unknown in general. Unfortunately they couldn't include about our T3 issues and lack of alternative treatments in the UK, however it hi-lights some of the symptoms we suffer from. In particular my face swells which is quite obvious to me and my daughter. Tbh I think the stress from being on TV actually triggered what was already waiting to erupt i.e. My Hashimotos and lupus but I still had a great experience!

You look just beautiful. So pleased to see that it appears possible to have a thyroid complaint and yet look so well. Auto immune diseases often go hand in hand ( I have androgenetic alopecia, additional to under active thyroid issues ) but I guess you already know that from your reading here...

Top marks for raising TUK's profile ;)
