How do you know what your t3/ t4 levels are my doctors never tells me just that a number is low can you ask for the results ??

You are entitled to your results. You may have to pay, but it should only be a small amount. You could also ask to see them on the PC screen and jot them down (make sure you also write down the ranges-numbers in brackets, as labs round the country vary)

Ask for a print-out. My surgery charges 30p. You then have all the results and make sure the ranges are stated as these are important as labs differ. We are entitled by Law to have copies if we wish.

Hi Lolowato

Not sure where you are but I am in South Wales UK.

At our GP practice you phone in for results from 10 am and you can ask over phone for full numbers and ranges and write them down.

I used to apply for my Hospital records free of charge by requesting them within 40 days of last being seen. Been a while since last time so not sure if ruling changed.

I'm in yorkshire and the gp practise has just changed hands the last lot were useless tbh there's a receptionist who is so unhelpful and rude they upped my dose not so long ago without telling me so I cancelled the 25mg prescription cos I thought they were my old ones lol
