Sometimes, especially if I'm run down (after a cold, for example) my digestive system packs in. I usually have a good appetite. But in this situation I find that everything I try and eat can aggravate my digestion and I can't eat and I start losing weight. Sometimes I hit on the right thing to eat, but it's a process of trial and error, what to get my digestion started again.
I take thyroid medicine and adrenal medicine too (under advice from someone who is based in the USA). Unfortunately the T3 supply from the States is unreliable.
I would like to know if anybody knows of a UK-based doctor (preferably in London) who prescribes T3. My own GP surgery is basically useless in this regard.
Thanks

Most private doctors will probably prescribe T3 for you but it is horribly expensive at £258 for 28 x 20mcg tablets. It would be much more affordable to buy Greek or Turkish T3 online. PM me if you would like sources.
You may have to go private as the guidelines have changed recently that no T3 has to be prescribed.

Because we are hypo everything slows down, even digestion. Most of us take either a good Apple Cider Vinegar in water or juice with meals. I think the word for the ACV it has the'mother' in it which I think is actually 'apple'. or Betaine with Pepsin tablets.
