    Ferritin: 8 (15 - 150 ug/L)

    Vitamin B12: 199 (180 - 900 pg/L)

Get yourself off to the doctors about these. Ferritin probably needs iron infusions. Also ask for a full iron panel in case there is something else going on. B12 and Folate are so low you should be tested for Pernicious Anaemia. Pop over to the Pernicious Anaemia Society forum here on Health Unlocked for further advice healthunlocked.com/pasoc

Vit D is deficient at 33.5 as you can see. Buy your own D3, it will be better than anything your GP will give you. Take 5000iu daily throughout the winter and retest in the spring. Recommended level is 100-150nmol/L.

We also need the important cofactors K2-MK7 and magnesium when taking D3. Vit D aids absorption of calcium from food and K2 directs it to bones and teeth rather than arteries and soft tissues. Take both with the fattiest meal of the day as they are fat soluble.

Magnesium comes in different forms, check here to see which would suit you best and as it is calming it's best taken in the evening naturalnews.com/046401_magn...

  • Ah, yes, I see what you mean. Your doctor does need to see these, they are very, very low. He really should do something, and SeasideSusie gives very good advice, there.

But, if he prescribes anything for you. Do let us know what it is before you take it. Doctors are notorious for prescribing the wrong thing/not enough of it. Let our experts have a look and guide you. :)

  • Thanks SeasiseSusie and Greygoose, will be contacting GP now.
