I haven't looked at your link, but your post title reminded me of an experiment that was done last year in relation to lavender oil and memory.
Here's an excerpt from a BBC article about it:
The team at Northumbria recruited 60 older volunteers to test the effects of not only rosemary oil but also lavender oil. They then tested these volunteers in a room infused with either rosemary essential oil, lavender essential oil or no aroma.

I heard about this from a friend who stopped using lavender oil on her bed linen to protect her son.
In sum, there is no definitive answer as to whether or not lavender and tea tree oils are endocrine disruptors. Given that the initial study was published nine years ago, it appears researchers are in no hurry to find definitive answers and the only rebuttals that have come forward are from those with a clear and obvious conflict of interest.
