Allergy to K2 MK-4 and K2 MK-7?

Yesterday I took my K2 MK-4 and within minutes my face was red, hot with a prickly sensation. I've been taken it a few weeks now with no response.

I had this off K2 MK-7 so was advised to switch to the synthetic MK-4.

Is this an allergic reaction? My rash goes completely within about 30 minutes.

That red hot prickly sensation you felt sounds just like the reaction I sometimes get, when taking vitamin B3 - niacin - especially if taking it on an empty stomach.

Did you happen to take any B3 about the same time, or is there any B3 within the K2 Mark 4 pill?

I think you have hit the nail right on the head !!

I don't think I have an allergy to any of the vitamins. It's when I take them on an empty tummy and yes - I do have high levels of niacin in my B-complex.

The rash follows shortly after (but not always) and is gone within thirty mins.
