Hi that is a fine balance for just 4,000 d3. Recommend Pharma nord K pearls k2 as they are soya free. No fillers just in olive oil. Best price atm is dolphinfitness. They are less then 100 but 75. You can take two or still stick with the one

90-100mcg K2 is sufficient for up to 10,000iu D3.

riordanclinic.org/2013/10/v... :

As we explore the healing power of higher doses of vitamin D3 at the Riordan Clinic, we have found it prudent to partner the safety and effectiveness of this dynamic duo. For every 5,000–10,000 units of D3 being recommended and tested for, we are recommending 100 mcg of K2 mk7 to be sure and prevent the inappropriate calcification that higher doses of D3 alone could cause.

Two brands that I have used, with no fillers are

Vitabay Organics amazon.co.uk/Vitamin-K2-Liq... (currently cheaper than Ebay)

Healthy Origins MK7 ebay.co.uk/itm/273042085183 (larger bottles available, check for price comparison)

I have to wonder how many older people are having heart attacks because their doctor prescribed D3 + Calcium. When I talk to people about Vitamin D, especially if their concern is regarding bone health, I tell them to ask the doctor to test their calcium levels (and of course Vitamin D levels) and then let them know that if they have normal levels of calcium, they might not want to take more....But that they DO need K2 MK-7 to make sure the Vitamin D gets their calcium routed to the bones instead of to their blood vessels.

Why don't doctors know this stuff?
