Blood results help please

Hello, hoping some of you knowledgable folk can advise me on my blood results. I'm on 100mcg levo. Self inject b12 for past couple of months (almost daily ... Or at least 4 or 5 injections a week). 400 mcg folate. Vitamin d and k, Ferous fumerate and vitamin c (although not for the week leading up to blood test).

Blood results received today:

CRP 1.70 <5.0

Ferritin 86.8 ( 20- 150)

TSH 0.06 (0.27- 4.20)

T4 total 112.4 (64.5 - 142.0)

Free T4 24.33 (12 - 22)

Free T3 4.85 (3.1 -6.8)

Anti-thyroidperoxidase abs 372.6 <34

Anti-thyroglobulin abs 614.7 <115

Vit D (25 OH) 74 (deficient -<25; insufficient 25-50; reduce dose >175)

Vit B12 1476 (140 - 725)

Serum folate 42.74 (10.4-42.4)

I'm a bit concerned at how low the t3 is considering the high t4 and suppressed tsh.

I'm on a gluten free diet and the antibodies are lower than they were a few months ago before I went gluten free.

Thanks in advance of any responses

Lulu_65,

TSH is suppressed, FT4 mildly over range, FT3 is just shy of half way through range. If you feel well there's no need to do anything but if not you might consider reducing Levothyroxine dose and adding in some T3.

How much D3 are you supplementing and how long for? Most people are fine with vitD around 100.

B12, folate and ferritin are good.

Hi Clutter

Thank you very much for your response.

I feel quite well (relatively speaking). I have decided to start supplementing selenium to see if it helps convert t4 to t3 better than I appear now. In a few weeks I'll test again and see if there's any improvement.

I have been supplementing d3 3000 mouth spray since the end of July.
