There is something wrong when your TSH is 66. You are seriously undermedicated.

Are you medicating yourself or do you have a doctor?

Are you in the UK?

Hi, yes my tsh is 0.66, and my Ft4 is 13.4, my GP says these results are fine, I was only originally put on a trial of levothyroxine last october.

Hi Shaws, just an update on mt test results done on Tuesday, my TSH is 0.81, the range is 0.35-6.50, my FT3 is 4, the range is 3.50-6.50, and my FT4 is 13.2, the range is 11.00-23.00. Have been on 50mg Levothyroxine for the last 6 months was previousley on 25mg, have an appointment to see my GP next week, could you give me your opinion on these latest results please, many thanks. :)

Oh, you meant your TSH was 0.66 you said above it was 66 - that makes a big difference :) II will say I am not medically qualified but your GP will be going by your TSH alone as most medical people think if it very low or suppressed will be harmful to our heart.

Both FT4 and FT3 should be higher and 50mcg is a very small dose. Both your FT4 and FT3 are too low - both should be towards the higher end of the range not lower. so I will give you a link. Most doctors only take notice of the TSH but patients who've had thyroid cancer have suppressive doses prescribed and they don't come to harm.

I wish more doctors would use this method of treating:-

Copy and paste your latest results onto a new post and you will get more responses. :) This is now six months old :)

Has GP checked B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate?

Have you had your antibodies tested?

Yes ,had them done earlier in the year ,and they were ok.

OK, but one negative test does not rule out Hashi's, because antibodies fluctuate. Also, there are two tests - TPOab and TgAB - and, on the NHS, they only do the TPOab.

Teddy-Twoshoes Do you mean Sixty-Six or 0.66? Previous posts you've mentioned TSH of 0.78, 0.90 and 0.37.

Do you have FT4 and FT3 test results as well? Plus antibody tests as Greygoose has mentioned?

Hi, yes I mean 0.66, my Ft4 was 13.4 also, my Gp says this is fine.

Teddy-Twoshoes Well, theoretically they are fine because they are 'in range'. But how do you feel?

Do you have FT3 test result? Your FT4 appears to be low but you haven't given a range so that's just a guess.

What is your antibody test results? OK doesn't really tell us anything.

You say you are supplementing with vits and minerals, are they at optimal levels now?

Hi, yes I am supplementing with vitamin D, and iron, and multiB, and selenium, thanks.
