Looking for some advice on recent results. For reference bloods a year ago were as follows (all ranges were the same):
ferritin 85.4, tsh 0.23, t4 21.24, t3 4.74, t4 total 112.3, anti-thyroglobulin 500.7 and tpo was 35.7. B12 was 337. Folate 34.91.

I'm taking 100mcg Levo & 12.5mcg t3. Older results were before I started t3 & was taking 125mcg Levo then. Currently supplementing b12 spray 1200, b-complex & iron. Confused as to why results for folate & ferritin have dropped.
folate likely to have dropped because your body is using folate to process the high amounts of b12 you are using. Best form is food - lots of vegetables - broccoli very good but are others.
Alternatively you can supplement.
In relation to B12 please see my response on this post

As you are supplementing the results above compared to normal range are even less likely to be a good guide to where your B12 levels should be than the normal range is.
Suggest you keep a symptom diary and monitor using that.
Thank you, I will ease up on B12, I hadn't stopped supplementing before the blood test though, taking better you spray 1200 daily. I will try to get ferritin back up again as it explains my increased hair loss & terrible nails splitting.
I tried to go gluten free but really struggled 😞 A trichologist I saw suggested my scalp eczema was due to gluten/dairy intolerance but getting Levo/t3 combo right & gentle shampoo seems to have resolved that.
Thanks, that's really interesting re NDT stopping scalp issues. Before adding t3 mine was pretty bad most of the time, now it's under control with occasional itchy spells.
I am wondering why my folate is half what it is was last time, is this significant?
