Thoga,
TSH is suppressed, FT4 is low in range and FT3 is good, almost in the top third of range. You appear to be optimally medicated.
Thank you. Problem is, I feel hypo, tired, gaining the weigh (currently I am more then 30kgs overweight)...all usual symptoms. And my GP is scared by THS suppressed to such a level, therefore intends to decrease medication. I don't know, what to do.
Thoga,
Suppressed TSH does not indicate over medication when FT4 and FT3 are within range. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... Email louise.roberts@thyroiduk.org.uk if you would like a copy of the Pulse article to show your GP.
As you feel hypo and tired it may be an idea to ask your GP to check ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate which are commonly low or deficient in hypothyroid patients.
Thank you for your answers and help!!!
