thyroid function test

have asked for my last thyroid function test results and this is all I have been tested for so can you tell me what it means and what I should be tested for serum tsh 1.08 mu/l [0.35 4.94] serum free t4 level 17.6 pmol/l [9.0 19.0] many thanks

jesse-james Those results are saying you are euthyroid ie 'normal'. Your TSH is basically where it should be - 1 or below and FT4 in the upper part of it's range, for a treated hypo patient.

However, if you are symptomatic you should ask for the tests Greygoose recommended in her reply to your last thread healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...

When you've got the results of those tests, make a new thread with the results, with reference ranges, and members can suggest where a problem may be.
