I was finally prescribed T3 Liothyronine on the 18/7/16 after waiting to see an Endo for 18 months, he agreed I do not convert T4 to T3 (High reverse T3 level and low ratio to T3) and asked for my GP to prescribe Paddocks Laboratories T3 as it is gluten and lactose free. (I had researched this brand myself and gave him the brand name). My pharmacist has been unable to source this item yet and has been told today it will not even be in the UK until the 15/8/16 and then they will have to send it to my pharmacy. Does anyone know of another brand which is gluten and lactose free? Thanks for your help.

Paddock was taken over by Perrigo. The product is now sold under the Perrigo name. This might explain difficulty in getting Paddock product - it is no longer being marketed! So far as I know, the product has not changed at all, but do check.
