Please can anyone translate?

Serum TSH Level

5.12 mU/L (0.30-4.40) High

Serum free T4 level

11.0 pmol/L

(9.0 - 19.1)

This was my first test which diagnosed hypothyroidism. Many thanks

You have hypothyroidism and will now be on a lifetime of thyroid hormones to replace the ones your thyroid no longer produces.

If in UK, because it is a serious condition if untreated, for all other medical problems you wont pay for prescriptions. If undermedicated we can develop other, more serious diseases.
