I'm still waiting on my labs for B12, vitamin D, folate and ferritin, so I can supplement where it is needed. I've been drinking Boost plus and it has all sorts of nutrients and vitamins. But I read it has alot of Vitamin C in it. Is that something I should avoid in a drink. I usually don't drink it til noon since I take my synthroid at 7am. My synthroid medication was recently changed, as I've posted in a previous post and won't be retested for another 3months. Is there a reason why my endocrinologist will only test TSH, I mentioned on him abouto doing a full panel of it he told me straight out that he only goes by TSH, and doesn't test the others. I was on 200mg then dropped to 150 then again to 112 from there I have to wait for my next labs results . I guess I'm feeling better, maybe a little sluggish and still having hard time sleeping through the night. Anxiety has calmed down a bit, still dealing with a rapid pulse. It's only been a week in a half..

It's a waste of money taking supplements when you don't need to and most products containing multi-vitamins aren't absorbed at all or in a tiny part.
Regardless as vitamin C is water soluble if you consume more than your body needs it is excreted in your urine.
Edited to say: And yes all thyroid meds should only be taken with water. Unless specifically told otherwise all medication should always only be taken with water.
In regards to your endo saying he only does TSH - I am aware in the UK and some European countries there are protocols that determine what a doctor/nurse in a particular hospital or practice is allowed to test for, so I presume in the US that each hospital and insurer does something similar.
Oh dear. I wouldn't take that if I were you. So many things wrong with it, but mainly, it contains iron and calcium. Those two will cancel each other out, so you won't get any of either of them. Plus, iron shouldn't be taken with anything else except vit C.
It contains folic acid, rather than the better absorbed methylfolate. It doesn't say which vit D nor which vit K it contains. Nor what type of B12. They are probably the cheaper forms that you can't absorb. But, worst of all, it contains soy. And if you have a thyroid problem, you most definitely shouldn't be taking any form of unfermented soy. It will make you more hypo. It's not just a waste of money, but could actually be doing you harm.
Thank you grey goose I was actually taking it also to up my weight as I lost alot recently do to stress and anxiety. I've finally got my appetite back, so I'm finally able to eat. I'll take that into consideration thank you for your input. I have congenital hypothyroidism and believe it or not I'm still learning about it.
I'm sure there are more nourishing things you could take to put weight on.
