Hashimotos and some advice regarding my latest blood tests please.

My endocrinologist has confirmed that I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis, which I suspected anyway.

I have two blood test results taken some time apart which I'm a bit concerned about if anybody can help explain please?

The first one was taken when I was on 50mcg of T4 and 25mcg of T3

TSH 0.04 (.30-4.20)

T4 8.9. (12.00-22.00)

T3 3.7 (3.1-6.8)

Endo advised me to increase my levo which I did until my NDT arrived.

This is the most recent blood test taken when I was on 2.5 grains of NDT, I'm now on 3.5 grains.

TSH .02

T4 10.5

T3 4.6

The ranges are the same.

I posted my blood test results when I was just on levo and everything was higher in range. The Endo thinks they are low because I didn't take my medication before the test, but I generally don't even when I was just on levo.

The other thing I would like to ask is my vitamin D is up from 12 to 124 is it advisable to carry on with the supplement? And my ferritin was 145 (30-400) do you think I may benefit from supplementing ?

Thank you

Personally I think your ferritin is fine and I would not supplement. The WHO advises a top level of 150 for women.
