Here is a personal comment from someone suffering from Lyme Disease. It goes some way to explaining how doctors and others can be confused into wrongly suspecting an endocrine disorder when in fact the culprit at the bottom of an individual's ill health can be something other than the obvious.
It should always be remembered that all those suffering from Lyme Disease (with or without other chronic infections) experience a different set of symptoms and to different degrees. That's what's so confusing and leads to mistakes in diagnosis. Jane x
