Three bioidentical creams you might want to look into (always go for bioidentical):

Elan Organics

Natpro

Serenity

I won't link to them because I am on my tablet and the website of at least one of them is for mobile devices and not sure if you are on a PC. Google should find them all.

Be careful of cheap Chinese ingredients, Elan Organics doesn't contain any and is recommended by my hormone specialist. It is USA made but is posted from Sweden and they kindly put the value at $3 and Gift on the customs form so no VAT or fee to pay.

I am postmenopausal, 65.  Do I need to think about my progesterone?

Thanks,

June

June25  I really don't know. You'd need to research about progesterone cream, it's uses, whether you have any symptoms/conditions which lead you to think you might need it, etc.

I've been having problems which I couldn't get to the bottom of. I  have had certain tests done including adrenal stress test and sex hormones, the results of which led to me being advised to use, among other things, progesterone cream.

If you have reason to believe you might need a supplement then it's best to test to seen if you actually do, if you don't have a need for a certain supplement there's no point wasting money on it.

I have pre-osteoporosis according to a bone scan.  I suppose I was just wondering what kinds of things progesterone is good for after menopause.  As you say - I need to dig deeper as to the benefits or otherwise of progesterone for osteoporosis,

Hi CarolineAnne ,

I've been recommended serenity by wellsprings and just ordered my first pot today. It cost £20.00 with postage and is meant to last around 3 months, have a look at the website for reviews and more info.

Thankyou. That doesn't seem a bad price with postage. :)
