Pixielula60mcgrm,

Lymphocytes are part of a white blood cell evaluation and the others are part of a red blood cell count. This link will explain why evaluations may be low and high. labtestsonline.org/understa...

Red cell distribution width could indicate b12 or folate deficiency. Sometimes levels of b12 or folate can be ok yet you are deficient as your body tries to compensate it. And in this case the red cells are slightly larger.

But i dont know if it is elevated enough to mean anything.

Low lymphocytes could tell about autoimmune disorder.

I would ask them to check your B12, Folate, and Ferritin levels. What was the reason you had the blood test?

Well it was a full blood count thyroid and blood sugars, I am B12 deficient, anaemic hypothyroid and diabetic.

So those are all to do with my B12 deficiency and anaemia ...... I am having 3 monthly shots and iron tablets

Yes.

Your white cell count or platelet count can go down if you are anaemia or have a b12 or other deficiency. The size of your red cells indicate whether you have an iron or b12 deficiency which is why you need to be careful with supplementing b9 wait can hide it

My GP started B12 injections months ago and that made a huge difference to how I was feeling, unfortunately she decreased my T3 at the same time so any benefit then has been lost now with hypo symptoms coming back and the anaemia is still there even after 12 weeks of iron tablets, also from the GP..... What could be causing the anaemia? I've never had problems before
