Thanks jobeth and it's good there's been publicity about it as Big Pharma will not be pleased at all. They pay a lot of money to have levothyroxine promoted as 'perfect' and most Endos agree (although I bet the Endos don't have a thyroid hormone condition otherwise they'd be on it too).

A USA doctor, Dr Lowe (deceased) wrote this article to the British Thyroid Association as they too refuse to acknowledge NDT as a treatment and despite three yearly reminders from Dr L to the BTA for a reponse they never did.

so odd that although Hillary is all over the news lately (in the US) they never bring up her use of NDT or Armour, she claims she cares about womens health? she could be a sponsor for Armour Thyroid if that was true

Just listened to a webinar yesterday on why the thyroid is not working right? I signed up for an overhaul. Without medication, just through diet and supplements. It is a 90 day regime. I will let you know how it works out.

Got a little biology lesson on how this T3 and T4 work. T4 is inactive. T3 is whats important. 60% of the conversion from T4 to T3 gets done in the liver. 20% in the gut. So, if we have a bad liver (drank a lot in the old days) and bad intestine ( i know i have leaky gut. My sisters colonoscopy showed she had a swiss cheese intestine) what happens?

The medicine is an enzyme and iodine. The medicine mimics the natural hormone in our bodies. If it leaks through your gut, the bodies immune system attacks it, and therego...inflammation. Inflammation on a cellular level can occur.

I am curious if this will work for me. I have many nodules on my thyroid, and 2 that were suppose to be biopsied, but I didnt have insurance at the time. I figure it cant hurt. I am already dairy free. Not gluten free all the time, but I think This is part of the diet.
