low FREE T4, high TSH

hi,

i looked back at some labs from when i was first diagnosed as hypo, and when i was not yet on levo, just wodering if this gives an indicator of maybe something i might be missing now that im on NDT

TSH 5.62 in a range of .28-3.89

FT4 .77 in a range of .58-1.64

Arugula, it meant you were hypothyroid and needed thyroid hormone to raise FT4 after which TSH would drop.

yes it dropped, thank you, i should've done all this research when i got diagnosed years ago, better now than never, thank you again clutter

hi,

its been two days without the levo, im feeling better, i take one tablet NDT early morning and one at 5pm, i take over the counter sleep aid at bedtime so i wont be up all night and im not having any symptoms, just wanted to keep you updated. thank you clutter for your help
