easy to understand,my memory is rubbish at the moment and i find some things very hard to digest(mentally lol)i have read lots on the t3 nd t4 and its still not getting in my head.I am usually so very good at learning and remembering but its not happening and when i go for next blood test i want to feel i have the knowledge to understand and ask the correct things for me.Thank you all.also audio books are best for me,but i will also use written ones as i need the best info help advice available ty.

I would always recommend "Your Thyroid & How To Keep It Healthy" by Dr Barry Durrant Peatfield....he is master of the thyroid gland..lol

Like you I knew zero about thyroid disease even though I had had it 30 years already when I found this site couldn't absorb or concentrate on anything .. Galathia loaned me quite a few books and the one I found easiest to understand and absorb was Dr Petefields book. Dr Tofts book was interesting but it was too technical for me to grasp and absorb at the time.

Thyroid Power, 10 steps to total health by Richard L. Shames, M.D., and Karilee Halo Shames, R.N. Ph.D. is another good read.
