Hi all

Since my previous post regards ear’s issues

I’ve being a horrible ill 10 weeks ago I had Covid in ear infection (just suspected )same time and it’s one of the weirdest worst illness in my life,

After seven day antibiotic it’s gone better and I’m back to quite normal,

Im quite regularly periods every month, but after this covid plus.. I got 12 days very late period

And after that I’ve got the ear same problem coming back..

got a feeling Faint, Dizziness headache, too much tinitus.. pulling & heavily at ears..

We still thinking that same outter ear infection with Unstable temperatures light fever..used same antibiotics, this time seem to be very slowly to get better, and its also unstable state of getting better or worst.. Im very weekness cant even stand

A min feel like im ok then a min later Im feeling faint..with the need to eat very often much quicket than usual I need more sugar and salt water when I’m feeling faint and then full foods added very often its like Disordered eating that never happened before,

First It look like the sign of anaemia ( Iron deficient) ask GP for full blood test & they told me Im fine

Except the tsh still high and suggested to increase from 75mg levo all week to

5 days 75mg & 2 days 100

Which Im following now..

I have been very weekness since past 10week & now still in bed mostly ..

Im desperated for being well now please help

Thanks in advance

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Slightly High MCH

healthline.com/health/mch#h...

Slightly High MCV

verywellhealth.com/mean-cor...

Could all be complications of Covid

When did you last test vitamin D

Test twice yearly via vitamindtest.org.uk

Retest thyroid levels including TSH, Ft4 and Ft3 in 6-8 weeks

Monitor my health is cheapest to do this

So you need to retest vitamin D twice year

Via NHS test here

monitormyhealth.org.uk/

Or

NHS easy postal kit vitamin D test £29 via

vitamindtest.org.uk

2000iu maybe enough.....but it might not. With Hashimoto’s we frequently need higher doses than average

Its not uncommon for hashimoto’s patients to have tinnitus. I don’t know why or what causes it, but it definitely happens to others with hashimoto’s. My uncle included. He had tinnitus for months before being diagnosed with hashimoto’s. Its cleared up now. So maybe just a question of patience.

You might be right, Its not happened to me before thyroid & hashis being diagnosed, its just Happened recently when I done a big mistake in appropriate drop the levo dose 😞

Tinnitus has happened then Ear’s problem keep going on and on ...

I am having not dissimilar problems. I have Hashimoto’s and have chronic tinnitus. I also often feel light headed for most of the time but for the last few weeks I have been very dizzy with a headache. I am trying Brand Daroft exercises ( google them) to see if it is Benign Positional Paroxysmal vertigo. It is certainly worse when I turn to my right so it may be crystals that have broken off in my inner ear. I have had similar symptoms before but this is more extreme and has lasted longer in this severe state. Your symptoms sound quite similar - dizzy, feeling of fullness in the ears, earache.....I sympathise. I am struggling so I know how you feel.

Yes, someone told me it sounds like.. Vertigo that I never known before,

And I adviced dr so they are checking that direction in just recent days

Thank you

If it gets worse with certain, often small, head ( or eye) movements it is almost certainly BPPV. Your brain thinks you are moving when you aren’t.

Not really. I am dizzy all the time too and have headaches. I’ve tried avoiding coffee and alcohol but it doesn’t make any difference. It is certainly worse some days more than others. I try to ignore it as best I can. I’ve had CT and MRI scans and they showed nothing so I know it’s nothing serious. Probably BPPV. I tried the exercises for about 10 days but stopped then. Don’t think they did much. There are other exercises you can try . Or seasickness tablets help some people. See if the scan shows anything but try not to worry about it. Hopefully it will clear up eventually.

AliF Thanks so much for replyKnowing that Im not alone here..we are quite on the same road at moments, Im also sympathise..how you feel

I had the seasickness tablets and it worked well at the first time ~ 2mths ago, but Im not sure if it will works again

This make me feeling so sick again now same with much dizziness headache & weekness, numbness hand feets that cant stand over 5-10min,

I have to eat much more Frequently otherwise feeling faint

Really dont feel like I wanna eat, mostly lying down..then feeling bit better for a while but not long

Will see the MRI tells but hopefully nothing serious 🙏

Wish you speedy recovery and

All the best of lucks X
