private or NHS endo's in Cornwall

Hello!

I've just moved to Cornwall and need to see an endo as soon as really. Does anyone know of a good endo that actually understands hypothyroidism?!

Private messages welcome. Sick of feeling so rubbish and the gp's really don't seem to have a clue.

If you post your recent thyroid results with the lab ref ranges (figures in brackets after the results) members will advise whether you are optimally medicated.

Hypothyroid patients are often low/deficient in ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate so ask your GP to test. Symptoms of low/deficient levels are musculosketal pain, fatigue, low mood and breathless ness which are similar to hypothyroid symptoms.

Sorry you are feeling poorly. I have read on here that there is a good ?? Endo in Plymouth. Also on the list detailed by Clutter there is someone in Bristol - could be worth the trip ! Used to live in Cornwall - now in Crete. Enjoy ! Was diagnosed here
