private or NHS endo's in Cornwall

Hello!

I've just moved to Cornwall and need to see an endo as soon as really. Does anyone know of a good endo that actually understands hypothyroidism?!

Private messages welcome. Sick of feeling so rubbish and the gp's really don't seem to have a clue.

Thanks,

Katy

Welcome to the forum, KadyKat86.

Email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org.uk for a list of member recommended endos.

If you post your recent thyroid results with the lab ref ranges (figures in brackets after the results) members will advise whether you are optimally medicated.

Hypothyroid patients are often low/deficient in ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate so ask your GP to test. Symptoms of low/deficient levels are musculosketal pain, fatigue, low mood and breathless ness which are similar to hypothyroid symptoms.

Sorry you are feeling poorly. I have read on here that there is a good ?? Endo in Plymouth. Also on the list detailed by Clutter there is someone in Bristol - could be worth the trip ! Used to live in Cornwall - now in Crete. Enjoy ! Was diagnosed here :-)
