Latest update...my lovely Doctor rang me last night and said he was annoyed as the lab that had my latest blood test (taken on Wednesday) ignored his request for T3 and just did TSH and T4 again.
On the plus side, he is referring me straight away to an endo . Hoorah!
Lets hope the endo is as good as my doctor......
That happened to me and my doctor put a note on the next test and they did it. Seems we are treated by the lab as the doctor just reads their recommendations.
our g.p. always puts ' requested by endo/ specialist on the blood form , and ALL tests inc folate , ferretin t3,t4,d3, are always done at the same time everytime ....alan
