Was just wondering whether anyone has any info in regards to the L-Thyroxin Henning leaflet that comes with the tablets as it's in German - where can I find in English?
Also my thyroid is a joke since Jan first tsh was 4.94 increased dose and after a month drastic drop to 0.84 and here's the fun part after another month tsh is 6.58...charming and this time t4 dropped too and of course put on weight...and symptoms not the same as in Jan just so weird and confusing.. depression still there and emotional swirl ohh.. ridiculous and mood swings oooo ....
I didn't think tsh was that high... something deffo ain't right either with me or my thyroid or the blood....
What is with this? Does anyone ever able to live fine as in stable and balanced without constant flipping unstable hypo almost every year????
Will be starting the new brand from today but strangely the chemist said that he had such difficulty from the UK medical team who gets meds from abroad (can't remember what they're called)... it doesn't make sense... We provided them with the letter the way they wanted form the hospital and yet caused this much grief that the chemist said if they do this next time he refuses to go through such hassle and won't get the meds for me... that's the last thing I needed to hear yesterday Thursday... first get the news at endocrine appt and then this with the tablets what is wrong with the UK border medical people??? Did anyone have that kind of issue in getting their tablets from germany - living in UK?
Sorry for the rant just one of those days... I don't have anything to be stressed about and yet feels like I need a vacation and to relax and not bother with anything at all.. just dunno what to do feels like all over the place always doing sth... and oh the insomnia phase for the past month pfff hitting the roof literally

There's always Google Translate. If you search for "L-Thyroxin Henning PDF" you should be able to find your leaflet. It will still be in German, but you should see an option for "translate".
On the main Thyroid UK website, there is an unofficial translation of the other popular german brand levo from Aliud Pharma. I believe it was supplied by the pharmacy that fulfilled the order for the medicine, on request from a UK patient.
So if I were you I'd contact your supplier and ask for a translation. Assuming they are a bonafide source, they should be willing and able to supply you with it
BTW it sounds as if you might begetting your levo through a large chain pharmacy? If so, I would try going to a small independent pharmacy next time if possible. My local independent pharmacy has no problem getting the German levo directly from the importer and it's ready for patient to collect after a couple of days.
I go to a small chemist locally and I'll get more details on tuesday cos first they needed a letter from the hospital to why I needed it and the letter had to be hand signed etc... but the chemist said it was the oh gonna have to get the correct name the suppliers that they contact who authorizes to get meds from another country they gave the chemist a hassle... but what surprised me that they had no problem getting the meds from norway which was also this year in Feb... the only reason I changed to Henning cos found out norway one contained gelatin...
Altho would like to know if anyone used this henning brand and how they got on with them.... I'm just a little concerned that if they don't suit me then unfortunately will have to go back to the norway one which I rather not....
i checked thyroid uK sight couldn't find apart form list of alternative levo available.... will check again cos am sure I stumbled on it but can't remember where....
