What is the problem obtaining this, can somebody help me please? The telephone number and revised number on the TUK list of meds leads to customer services at Sanofi ,where repeatedly no one knows the answer, or it goes to a recorded message.
The medinfo for Sanofi emailed back that they have no info how to find which pharmas in UK have stock,or who they distribute to.
I have tried, Boots, Lloyds,Pyramid,6 smaller local ones, all who say "computor say no" .And are all very very reluctant to even try sourcing it for me despite script being worded Henning L-Thyroxin.
Is it perhaps only available now on a private script, does anybody know please? I see online its still an extremely reasonably priced medicine. I can see that it requires a prescription but my German language skill is poor and despite entering Translate to English at the start, by the time I enter the product it reverts to German.
Any thoughts, greatly appreciated,
Every besst wish, G

Hi Red Apple, thank you for taking the time to reply. Its an NHS one. Many years back (2015) back my GP wrote Henning L Thyroxine Levothyroxine Lactose free on the script, and I got it at a local Pharma. They can no longer get it since Brexit saying complicated paperwork/expense would now be incurred, but suggested a private script and buy online. So more expense.
The critical bit is whether the pharmacy accepts UK prescriptions. And is willing to send to the UK.
The pharmacy below does send products to the UK but I simply do not know if they currently accept UK prescriptions. You would have to contact them to ask.
The usual size is 100 tablets. (They also do the somewhat odd 98 tablets!)
The screenshot is translated by Apple Safari on macOS Ventura. I know I sometimes have to click on Translate to English several times
Thank you Helvella. How does one stop it jumping back to German? I can try the GP script and see what happens, but the UK Pharma that dispensed it on GP script in 2015 says he can no longer get it post Brexit, without reams of paperwork and expense to him. Private script and DIY was his recommendation.
Roseway can supply Thybon 20 Henning at a cost of £60 for 100 tablets but the prescription must specify 'Thybon Henning'. This is because pharmacies have to supply UK licensed medicines if a generic name is specified.
I just tried versando and they have it but when I put it in basket it says no payment method available fir my country … I buy b12 from them with no problem with payment so I added on b12 to order and still said no method of payment available …. I took the thyroxin off and was going to let me proceed with order…. Maybe it is until they get the prescription …. Not super helpful but maybe you could email them
Yes so it seems, I did OK twice post Brexit getting my T3 scripts as usual, then this year after June ,nothing, no e mail, just ignored the prescriptions.
