Thybon Henning price?

I remember reading someone's post that the price for 20mcg Thybon Henning from Roseway was: 100 tablets = £60

I just got their quote: 60 tablets = £100!

Feel like my dyslexia has kicked in... has anyone else been quoted that price? Just emailed for a quote from Chemist 4 U and received this reply:

"Unfortunately, I regret to inform you that we are presently unable to process private prescriptions. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I genuinely hope that you find an alternative solution to fulfil your prescription promptly."

UPDATE: Received quotes from Smartway: 60 tablets for £45 and 100 for £65 (including delivery). At the same time, I received a response from my Endo saying that he is happy to rewrite my prescription to 100 tablets, so I'll be sending the one I have back to him.

I don't think I have ever posted the price - as I don't buy it, I'd rather leave that to those who do buy it!

(Of course, I might have done at some point and just forgotten the fact! If so, that would be an exception.)

It's better to try and get prescriptions for 50 or 100 as this corresponds to the pack sizes and may be more economical.

Thanks jimh111... I'm just starting, so this is my T3 TRIAL period. After that, my Endo said he'd be upping the count if I do well.

Wigmore, which are in London have quoted £39.30 for private prescription, box of 100. How true that is I am not sure. Also not sure if they post it out.

Roseway labs, via their Endo consult service, I paid £60 for 100 20ug Thybon Henning T3 tablets, middle of August.

The Endo consult was £30 and I need to book another one for after blood tests end October/beginning November.

On top of that the Endo will want to see blood test results, I don’t know if TSH/T4/T3 is sufficient or if they want to see the whole gamut, but I just sent my massive spreadsheet.

So, £65 for full blood tests (monitor my health), £30 for Endo, £60 for tablets, £65 for blood tests, £30 for endo. And then hopefully I’ll have a repeat prescription set up, I don’t know whether I’ll need to check in with the Endo each year to keep it going.

I've found a great Endo and have gone through the meet and greet. He can provide NDT, but T3 has to be on written prescription that he posts to me which then I can shop. It was for 60 tablets, so I've asked for a full 100 to see if I can get the best price from Roseway or Smartway. Maybe just because it is my trial, I can only get 60 this first time. At least, that's what I'm hoping (if I can't get a new script).

Roseway Labs have a pharmacist prescriber not an endo…very good for £30 phone appointment. A week or so ago my 100 Thybon 20 Henning were £60.

I have just last week paid 60.00 for 100 from Roseway - mind you their system is so convoluted it tool three weeks if hoop jumping to get it !

Also a friend was in Greece last week and looked for the T3 I have previously bought there only to be told that there is a dispute with the Greek government re prices for it and was told it was no longer available to buy ?

I have been in holidays for 2 weeks in Greece- Athens and Crete. Asked about T3 in 15 pharmacies in Athens- not available … Found 5 packs in Crete - one in each Jen it’s , stopping in every village. One or two pharmacists tried to order it - was not available , we’re told maybe changes in price. 2euro 30 cents for 30tablets (25mcrg). . I

My new one will... but the one I was quoted was for 60 x 20mcg. My Endo is happy to change the quantity! Yay! As our favorite donkey says, "The joy of going private!"
