Fairly recently, there was some discussion about Henning thyroid hormone medicines - and lack of available information.

Just found details information for both L-Thyroxin Henning and Thybon Henning. Sorry most is in German - but the best modern browsers support quite good translation.

Medizinischen Information von Sanofi

L-Thyroxin Henning (Levothyroxin-Natrium)

Thybon

The Fachinformation is the equivalent of UK Patient Information Leaflets.

The Gebrauchsinformation / Gebrauchsanweisung is information for prescribers.

I take L-Thyroxin Henning as my German friend is a gp & her partner was a pharmacist. However, her pharmacy has now closed. I'm having to decide which uk T4 to switch to.... 🤔

I suggest you consider Aristo. Like L-Thyroxine Henning, it is lactose-free, mannitol-free and acacia-free.

Currently in 100 microgram dosage only but we are hoping for additional 25, 50 and 75 dosages arriving any day! They are approved and jsut need to get into the distribution channels.

Thank you. 100's are difficult for me as I only take 12.5mcg. (Just to balance my NDT). But I have a fair bit of German thyroxine left. I will ask my GP to prescribe Aristo. Thank you very much.

Aristo do have a 12.5 in their plans - but not yet approved. So definitely a delay. :-(

Unfortunately, anything could happen that prevents it arriving - but we can hope!

You do not need to cut Aristo levothyroxine - at least, not in two. They split by simply applying pressure with your thumb.
