I read somewhere here never to keep in the frig. Something about condensation damaging it. Just keep in a cool place I believe.
Oh no, I thought I read on here to keep it in the fridge, so I do! Will it deteriorate if I take it out?
Usually on side of packet it states maximum temp.
My T3 states to avoid temps over 25 degrees centigrade. This is another link. (i.e. 25 degrees cent is equal to approx 77 fahrenheit.)
All the levothyroxine drugs -- such as Synthroid, Levoxyl, Levothroid, Unithroid, and generic levothyroxine -- should be stored away from light and moisture, and at a temperature no higher than 86F. This temperature guideline also applies to Cytomel (liothyronine), Armour (desiccated thyroid), and the antithyroid drugs PTU and methimazole. (NOTE: The synthetic T4/T3 drug Thyrolar (liotrix) should be refrigerated, at a temperature no higher than 46 F.)
Most drugs are recommended to be stored at what's known as "controlled room temperature" -- an average of approximately 77 F. Some permit what are known as "controlled excursions" -- short periods to accommodate shipping, for example -- at temperatures up to 86 F for shorter periods.

Thanks for valuable information, after reading I shouldn`t keep it in the fridge, am going to find an alternative suitable place....................
Hah! Thyrolar disappeared from the market years ago - with no explanation and always the possibility of its return. I, for one, have given up on that expectation. But you do keep seeing it mentioned all over the place.
I keep my armour in a cool, dry place and just take a week's worth out at a time if the weather is hot.
As others have said, condensation is the big issue with any refrigerated storage. Every time you open and close the door, there is a tendency for more condensation to form within the refrigerator. Every you take something cold out into the room, condensation tends to form. Every time you open a container full of cold things, condensation tends to form.
If the tablets were in a 100% guaranteed air and moisture tight container. And you always took out the whole container and allowed it to very slowly return to room temperature (contents as well as the actual container). Then it might be reasonable. Few of us have the combination of suitable containers, proper planning and implementation, to achieve this.
Changes to moisture levels can affect the life of thyroid hormone medicines.
Best answer is to use a cool, dry and dark location.
How about in the freezer?
