Adrenal stress test results finally back. Good and bad I suppose?

Just had my latest results - have also pasted previous results to compare.

My DHEA has improved, which I'm really pleased about as that was quite low. My early morning cortisol has also improved dramatically - I'm not tooooo worried about it being just a smidgen over. The mid morning and mid afternoon numbers are a bit disappointing though. Not sure what to do about it - start again with the adrenal cortex mid morning?

Noticed I'm a little shaky again 2 hours after taking my NDT in the morning. Related??

  • One thing that helps some people is split dosing of their NDT. PR

  • I split my NDT dose :-) when I wake, and then 2 PM.

  • What did you take to raise your levels and how long have you had to take it for? Have you tried circadian method for NDT?

  • I have taken DHEA and also use Adrenal Cortex Extract. I didn't take DHEA for very long though, about 6 weeks and took ACE for about 4 weeks. I have started again taking the ACE, but not early morning - mid morning, and then licorice lunch time and early afternoon. Hoping this will bump it up a little! Also making sure I take my other supplements every day too, including iron.

Haven't tried any other method but split dosing.

  • i heard many take the dose all at 1x..this is the way it was designed to be taken.

  • have a look at this, it's about how timing the first dose of t3 and therefore NDT containing T3 can help support the adrenals to produce better cortisol levels etc : recoveringwitht3.com/blog/b...
