My dhea is low and my daily cortisol is high, I'm sure with the dhea being low it might mean adrnal problems I'm not to sure :/ x

Mine was very similar to yours. Did you get it from Genova & did they make any comments? With high cortisol like that it doesn't look good, sorry sporty to disagree. I bet you are 'wired & tired' most of the time with results like that. How do you sleep? - your evening cortisol is borderline high - I bet you don't sleep well either. You need to start supporting your adrenals now before you 'crash'.
Hi, I feel exactly how you said, my comment was the morning cortisol level is above the normal range, this may be a reflextion of low night time blood sugar levels, insomnia, chronic pain, glycogen storage inpairment or an imbalance in the hypothalmic adrenal axis don't know what this means? X
I had all that too. Did it give recommendations about supporting your adrenals with small, regular meals, cutting out refined food, especially sugar. Plenty of rest and very gentle exercise. I take Nutri Adrenal Extra 1 or 2 a day & they are worth trying, start with half or one a day and see how you react to it. It doesn't suit everybody, so start slowly. I found it took several months + Nutrithyroid as well to start to feel better.
Flo
PS I no longer take Nutrithyroid as have started on thyorxine.
Thanks, flo I noticed on a post you wrote your thyroid test panel and I couldn't help but see they was very similar to mine, how did you get the help as I'm being left untreated? X
went to see Dr Peatfield last year and have been on his programme which has helped enormously. I'm not a shivering wreck any more. Of course he's private & the supplements he recommends have to be purchased. I felt I had got so far with Nutrithyroid and still have some symptoms so I'm self treating at the moment with v.small doses of thyroxine & responding well. I would recommend seeing him first.
Thank you so much, I have been thinking in seeing him, did he recommend the thyroxeine? X
Have been unwell for a few days, sorry didn't reply sooner. Was going to ring Dr P but was told he now charges for telephone appointment, so it was cheaper to buy the tablets & try them.
