Hi there could someone tell me if my thyroid numbers are normal, I have been unwell for a long time and loads of weight gain, 7kgs in one week, sooooooooooo tired, lethargic, more hot than cold

T4 11

TSH 1.08

T3 4.2

Have you got the reference ranges to go with these tests please...?

Are you diagnosed? On treatment?

Do you have any other conditions or take other meds/supplements?

Did they do a thyroid anti-body test?

This information will help people to better offer informed support...

Potentially, depending on the reference ranges, your results all look low. This could be suggesting a pituitary problem or secondary hypothyroidism...

Have you ever had a head injury/whiplash/ car accident...?

Hi there thankyou for your reply, no i have not been diagnosed, i have been very unwell for over 16months beginning with a 7kg weight gain in 5 days, doctors thought i had liver cancer, then pancreas, then ovarian could not find what was wrong with me, still cant i am very ill gone gf lactose free, eating caveman diet, nothing will move the weight and i could sleep forever. never has car accident or anything like that, have RA and fibro. I dont have a print out of range nurse just gave me those numbers. cheers any suggestions greatly appreciated.

yes genuine RA been on methotrexate for 7 1/2 years

thank you so much, the levels i gave you earlier are from 3 months ago and doctor said they were normal, i questioned that today and had further thyroid tests, will keep you informed

I have asked for more tests, can you tell me what I need please? can you have tests for pituarity gland? what do I need for central/secondary hypo? thank you

thank you so much, what is the test? is it a blood test? scan? I don't know if you have read my posts but I have a terrible stomach issue, all food causes my stomach too look 9months pregnant, could this have anything to do with central/secondary hypothyroid? will keep you informed.

Hi me again, been doing some research, I had an iron infusion about 7 years ago, iron overload may cause pituarity gland damage??????????????????
