When should I receive my next blood test and what should it include?

Diagnosed with Hashimoto's and PA a week ago. Endo Dr. has me on NDT (1grain and building up to 2grains), iron, B12 4,000 oral supplements, DHEA 25mg, Vitamin D 5,000IU daily, Vitamin E 4,500IU daily, and Fish Oil. My Integrative Medicine GP thinks that I should be checked for all of these in a month to see where my levels are at and my Endo just wants to check my Thyroid in 3 months. 3 months seems like forever away if I need to have more NDT. Also, my GP is worried about toxicity from the supplements if the absorption rate changes. I mentioned it to the Endo and she got very defensive. What do you think?

I'm guessing you are not in the UK - otherwise there would be a queue round the block of people from this forum waiting to see your Endo Dr to get prescribed NDT! Most of those supplements just get excreted if you take too much, you could Google which ones are a potential problem. B12 is definitely OK.

Thanks. I get mine from a coumpounding pharmacy. I didn't realize that they did not prescribe NDT in the UK. Just out of curiosity, why not?

It isn't licensed, doctors are never taught about it, they may not even know what it is and/or they have what I think is an irrational prejudice against it. healthunlocked.com/thyroidu...
