You are on a very low dose of Levo. I am not surprised you still suffer hypo symptom. Ask your GP if you can up it. I was on t3 and levo but went to a private endo who persuaded my GP to prescribe T3. I felt a lot better on T3 aswel but it is not for everyone but worth asking your GP to trial you on it,
Your GP is another who is a TSH diagnosis devotee. He is ignoring your clinical symptoms. Ask your GP which active thyroid hormone enables your body, particularly your brain, to function well. (I am just being cheeky). It is T3 and yours is extremely low. Ask if he can add some T3 as you appear not to be converting enough from the low dose of T4.
50mcg is a starting dose and some may feel well on this but you obviously don't and your dose should be increased. He can add T3 is too low.
Hi! my last doctors left me wallowing on 50mcg of levothyroxine & as yourself still had all the symptoms. I changed doctors & asked to be prescribed T3 which has to be done through a consultant. I have just had a total thyroidectomy & take 75mch of Levo & 20 mcg of Liothyronine (T3) and have never felt better xx
