My partner has most of the hypothyroid symptons but the blood tests are Serum TSH level 3.32 miu/L (0.3 - 5.6) and Serum free T4 level 10.2 pmol/L (7.8 - 14.4) which apparently are normal. The GP is not inclined to do any further testing but if we have them done privately what tests should we arrange please?

Suggestions for further tests
The TSH seems a bit at the high end of the range to me. Could have sub-clinical hypothyroidism. When TSH is elevated it will cause T4 to be raised as well. The most common form of hypothyroidism is autoimmune (Hashimoto's) so you need to get tested for Anti-thyroid peroxidase (anti-TPO) antibodies. If these are present, this confirms the case.
Blue horizon medicals do these tests for TSH, T4, free T3, free T4 and Thyroid antibodies (Google it). It is worth finding out - then you will have some evidence for treatment, if required.
Look again at your partner's results on the basis that in a normal healthy person (if such a creature exists!) the TSH would be around 1 and the FT4 at the top of the range.
A full thyroid screen of TSH, FT4, FT3, TgAB and TPO may give you the answers you seek.
