Soybean oil should we avoid it?

I've recently bought on line some vitamin e tablets. I didn't check before I bought them and unfortunately they contain soybean oil. I went on the internet and found some research that suggests soybean oil is usually safer than soybeans themselves as the oil doesn't contain the substance that causes problems. Some websites suggest not to take it at all.

Does anyone know the answer to this?

Many thanks

That clarifies everything then. No more soybean. It will teach me to be more careful next time and to double check before I buy.

Thanks shaws
