I believe the nutri adrenal isn't good for high cortisol, I started taking them and as I continued upping the dose I noticed how much more anxious I got, I heard nutri adrenal releases more adrenalin and I think I have enough of that as it is, was I right to do this? x

had to give up on nutri adrenal
Yes, absolutely.
I think the same as you... that Nutri Adrenal increases the release of adrenal hormones, which can be good if you need them, but not so good if your cortisol is already high.
It's not always easy to understand what your body is trying to tell you, but in this case I think you have got the right message.
thank you for your response, I know dr p told me to take them but I noticed to be more wired and anxious, now ive stopped them I feel a little bit better so had to see and I was right x
I was struggling with palpitations and thought it could be adrenal related, after 7 years of under-treatment, but in the 5 days of taking the Nutri Adrenal, I started to have episodes of even faster heartbeats than before, so I stopped taking them and now the palps have stopped altogether for two days.
I am wondering if it did a little bit of good, because I was getting palps every day anyway before I took them. I will just have to see if the change continues.
I hope you find that improvement continues. Why were you taking the Nutri Adrenal?
I recently reduced my Nutri Adrenal from 8 to 3 a day and I too am feeling much better. I thought it was the wrong dose of T3 that was causing my breathlessness but it seems to have been the NA.
Does anyone know if Dr.Wilson's Adrenal Re-builder has the same effect/purpose as Nutri Adrenal?
Have been wondering if this caused breathlessness or too much Armour?
You may only need a very small dose (even though Dr P would suggest as much as you can take!) I found the NA made me more anxious....I think it depends on what you are trying to achieve.....and if anxiety is a key issue then you might need to start with a very small dose.
Another supplement (which was posted on this forum) and which I like is AD206. It has Gota Kota which helps with stress/anxiety and is an adaptogen also.
I found I did much better with a vitamin D complex, vitamin C and Liquorice.
My adrenal exhaustion stemmed from an overactive thyroid - so I didn't really need any further stimulation!
