I was wondering about people's experiences with the Nutri adrenal product and whether they take it long term, or whether anyone has an experience of improving adrenal health and so no longer needing to supplement?
Do people have to take Nutri adrenal long-term,... - Thyroid UK
Do people have to take Nutri adrenal long-term, or is it just until they achieve better adrenal health?
Hi townie
I'm sorry no-one has answered your question, I'm sorry I don't know either, you could try asking the question again? I have noticed some folks are recommended to try Nutri adrenal first before Nutri Thyroid. Some do seem to stick with the regime, others move on from these supplements to T4, T3, or NDT. Have you had an adrenal saliva test? (that's one of the things on my list.)
I did try just Nutri Thyroid last year and began to feel a bit better but then had palpitations, which indicated (I think in my case), there was other things that needed sorting, since then I found I was low in Vitamin D and boosted that up first - I may try Nutri supplements again 'tho, just to try & help my struggling half a Thyroid (and struggling me!) J
Thanks spareribs, I think there has been a lot written already around the Nutri product, which I have been searching through, so maybe this is why. I will post again but in the meantime thanks for responding, After being on this forum and educating myself a bit, and feeling encouraged by all the information here, I am going back to my GP to make sure I have covered all the options re NHS testing, and then I will try and begin to decide about whether I should do the adrenal stress test and Vit D etc. I do have concerns about jumping into self-treating without the best information I can wring out of the NHS, but it is a struggle to progress any further diagnosis (and subsequent other treatment) beyond ME/CFS.
