Does anyone take nutri adrenal or nutri thyroid?

I have been advised to take both of these supplements, however I do not like the idea of ordering meds online especially when they contain bovine from New Zealand. Has anyone got experience or are able to tell me more about these? Thank you

Did you ever worry about the source of the cows it's taken from?

New Zealand cows have NEVER had BSE. The New Zealanders are very proud of that fact. You have far less cause to worry about that than the rubbish they pump into use which they call Levothyroxine!

I take NT and NAX. I just try not to think about where they come from. I'm not vegetarian.

If you look on Amazon there are other brands of glandular supplements you can take, but I'm not sure what their countries of origin are.

Both were recommended to me by Dr P. I'm on 2 NT and 3 NAX a day. A few days ago I finally managed to increase from 2 NAX to 3 a day and my temperature has gone up by 0.5 degrees.

Thats interesting....I thought the NT would bump the temp up not the NAX?

it's definitely the NAX that are doing it. For me, thyroid is only part of the story and I'm certain my main problem is adrenals. Malfunction of either seems to have many common symptoms. My body temperature has been around 35.5 since I was a teenager. It went up to around 36 on 2NAX and for the last few days it has been consistently 36.5. Before that it was different every day.

Do you feel they are helping? How long have you been taking? I saw Dr P on Tuesday, but haven't ordered anything as yet. Just trying to do a bit more research... Thanks for you input on this.

I saw Dr P nearly 5 weeks ago. Before I saw him I was taking 75mg thyroxine, and 1 each of Nutri thyroid and regular nutri adrenal. He changed me to nutri adrenal extra and told me to take 2 a day, increasing after a week to 3 and then after another week to 4. Until last week, each time I tried increasing the NAX I felt strange and twitchy. This time, I've not had a problem. I now take 50mg thyroxine and 2 NT as well as all the usual supplements.

Are they helping? Things are definitely changing. Right now I feel totally ****. I did get a lot better but went downhill rapidly a couple of weeks ago when I bought a new car, so I'm back at home, sofa bound again. But my temperature has changed and, most odd of all, I now sit on the sofa in the regular way - bum on seat, feet on floor. Whereas before I always sat with my feet up. Odd and I realised what I was doing about 3 weeks ago.

If I didn't feel so **** I'd be a lot better!

My feeling is that as my adrenals have been untreated for 37 years, I'm not going to get better in a hurry. I'm encouraged by seeing changes. I wonder what will happen when I finally get to 4 NAX a day?
