blood work : my thyroid TB i think is low and the... - Thyroid UK
blood work
Can you either type out the results, also the numbers in brackets after your result (the reference range)? Either that or upload a qood quality screen shot.
my parent has the blood results so im thinking off memory
one was 20 and the other was low
Hey there - oh, I'm sorry, I thought you said you had the results and ranges -
We can't help with this as it stands -
Were you told to stay on the AT drug or to come off it - or to reduce or to increase the dose ?
just blood work ill take a pic when i get home and type out the numbers for yall!!
Okey doke - are you to stay on the Anti Thyroid drug at the same dose ?
yes 10mg 2 times a day
So staying on the same dose as when you started ?
if you can also share with us your first set of blood tests at diagnosis -
probably a TSH + a Free T3 + a Free T4 reading and range it will make more sense as e will be able to what - if anything has improved since being on the AT drug:
and we also need to know the antibodies - which might look like TPO - TgAB- TRab - TSI - or a TSH Thyroid Receptor reading and numbers / ranges :
yes the the T3 was low and the T4 was very high i rember but yes im on the same meds
Ok - that sounds about right -
the idea is that now you are on the AT drug we should see the disparity between these reduce -
with the T3 coming up and the T4 coming down -
so they both end up in their respective ranges -
but we do really need the actual readings/results and ranges and the antibody readings to say anything of any sense to you.
ill try my best to get a pic and write the results down and share them and if i hear the docter ill let you know
Hi tired995
Can you also share your posts here with your parents?
Especially the last one at this point, as it has information you and they likely will not hear from any doctor.
We are a community of thyroid patients on this forum. There is an incredible depth of medical, diagnosis/treatment, and symptom management experience.
When you ask them for the full blood test results, share it here. And do share this info with them. As an 18 year old, your parents will play an important and supportive role in your decisions and management.
