Do you take Adrenavive or other adrenal glandular or cortex all in one go in the morning or do you split it into two or more doses? (What did your doctor or other healthcare professional recommend, or what works for you?)

How do you take your Adrenal Glandular/Cortex?

I started off splitting mine. Once my "later in the day levels" improved I just took it in the morning. I knew they were improving because I tested regularly.
How did you split it?
Took some with breakfast and some with lunch. It's usual not to take it later than lunchtime because you need lowest level at bedtime.
Optimal levels according to rt3-adrenals.org/cortisol_t... are
• Morning at the top of the range
• Noon approximately 75% of the range
• Evening close to 50% of the range
• Nighttime at the bottom of the range
Mine were:
7:30 am - 57%
12:30 pm - 25%
7:30 pm - 2%
They didn't do a nighttime.
I ordered Adrenavive II and started taking 1 in the morning to see if I tolerate it. I should probably add in a second one at noon, right? Would a total of 2 Adrenavive II be enough?
Canu
They didn't do a nighttime.
Who did your test?
When you worked out the percentage, was there a "reference range" and an "optimal level"? If so, which one did you use to work out the percentage?
Is there a picture showing the normal curve and where your results are plotted against that? Regenerus and Genova do this.
It might be best if you put the results/ranges in your post, or post a picture of the results in your opening post by going to MORE, then EDIT, then ADD A PHOTO, then EDIT RESPONSE.

Difficult to say. Your noon level seems low so you might need to take extra in the morning.
Would a total of 2 Adrenavive II be enough?
Impossible to say.
SeasideSuzie, my test was done by Ganzimmun Diagnostics, a German lab which my GP works with (I'm not in the UK). I added the picture showing the normal curve and where my results are plotted against it. They tested 5 different times, from when I woke up to 12 hours later, but not at nighttime:
7:30 am 9058 (1850 - 14570) 57%
9:30 am 3092 (1300 - 10290) 20%
12:30 pm 1975 (760 - 5690) 25%
3:30 pm 1630 (650 - 4380) 26%
7:30 pm 395 (330 - 3330) 2%
DHEA 7:30 am 340 (80 - 632) 47%
DHEA 7:30 pm 40 (13 - 158) 19%

OK, well for now I'd just take them in the morning and see what difference it makes. I'd be retesting after 3 months.
If you don't do well on Adrenavive ll, which is just the cortex, it might be worth trying Adrenavive l which is the whole gland (I started with cortex only but swapped to whole gland and do better on that).
SeasideSusie, I know this is an old post, but I was wondering, how do you test your cortisol levels while taking adenal cortex? Do you have to stop taking it for a while before you test or just not take it on the day of the test?
Canu
Personally I just stop taking it on the day of the test because I want to know if the dose I am taking is adequate, too much or too little.
To evaluate your natural cortisol production the instructions that come with my test say to leave off any adrenal support for 5 days.
I hope one day to have good enough results to do a test leaving the supplement off for 5 days.
