I will try again. Ha .I read someone has a rectal prolapse. I have 4 prolapses of the bowel. I did have laxido for years. I found they worked pretty well. This might help.
Since my prolapse has stayed out. My bowels are all over the place.
I take a lot of other laxatives now.
So you are probably having more trouble because of your prolapse. I know mine has effected it badly.
I hope I've wrote this in the right place now. If anyone wants to chat bi will have a go. Getting on a bit 69.

Thank you for replying, and I know how hard it can be. All over the place is so true. It is very worrying, and you have to be so careful. I wear pads all the time. (I also have a leaking bladder!) I am getting on a bit. 81! Thank you again. Briar Hill Cat
I am trying to get an appointment with the GP . I have been taking Laxido and Ducosate but then read not to use them if you have ulcerative colitis - which I have. It seems you get on top of one thing, and another comes up. At least I am getting my cataract done on 26th March (only been waiting four years!) That wont help my other problems but at least I (hopefully) wont be tripping up, dropping things and bumping into things! Oh the joys of getting older!
