CT scan done...over with

Now that its overwith I am wandering why I worked myself up into such a state of anxiety... If don't and won't have the results for a few days... but I am SO TIRED that I don't have the ENERGY to do any more worrying!

About the stuff to drink: barium... it came in two bottles 15 oz each...and it was vanilla flavored... from what I heard so many people say I thought it would take like a cross between vinegar and Listerine! But it honestly was NOT that bad... Maybe they have different brands, not sure...

Anyway, those new machines are fantastic... you DO NOT go 'into a tunnel' or get all covered up...I had a pelvic scan...the machine told you when to breathe and when to hold your breath. It was over in about 15 minutes... Glad its done with... I am just wiped out from all that needless worry... now...for hopefully good results...

Thank you for replying....I just hope that somehow, in some small way, someone who has a 1st CT or cat scan coming up--is a wee bit less apprehensive...
